Vein Centers of America was established in 1981 by Jan V. Karlin, MD in Palm Springs Florida. Over the past 28 years Dr Karlin has treated tens of thousands of varicose and spider veins using only the most comprehensive state of the art resources. Dr. Karlin believes that pursuing excellence in the treatment of vein disorders requires a full-time commitment.
Dr. Karlin specializes in Phlebology, which is the medical specialty of treating vein disease. He is highly recognized for his dedication to the treatment of vein diseases. He is a member of American College of Phlebology and the Canadian Society of Phlebology The foundation of treatment is to make an accurate assessment of the cause and extent of the problem. That is best done with a physician’s personal examination, and usually includes mapping your veins with Color Duplex ultrasound. If you prefer to pay by cash or check, payment for your vein therapy treatment is due in full at your pre-surgical visit, two weeks prior to surgery. We accept personal and certified checks, but not business checks.
